Inwood Canoe Club
We are a not-for-profit organization that promotes kayaking and canoeing on the Hudson River and the Harlem River in the Inwood neighborhood of far northern Manhattan, New York City.
Directions
We are at the far west end of Dyckman Street (take the A train, the 1 train, or the Broadway buses to Dyckman, then walk west towards the Hudson River). At the marina gate, turn left and find our sign on the chain-link fence. Walk through the pedestrian gate and down a gravel path. Our red boathouse is 200 feet down the path. Here we are on Google Maps.

Membership
In addition to running a public program, we are a membership club. Members can paddle frequently and enjoy the boathouse; they have the option of storing a boat, subject to space availability and the payment of a fee. We look for members who are enthusiastic about paddling, who can operate safely in our environment, and who are willing to help out with the many, many, many physical and administrative needs of the club. The main path to membership is to come to the open houses, get to know us, and let us get to know you.
